Phone: 770-352-2201 Jim joined Strategic Planning Group in January 2003 following 16 successful years in the financial services industry. His longstanding practice specializes in advising affluent individuals and business owners in the areas of advanced estate and charitable strategies, business succession designs, retirement accumulation and financial life planning. Jim works closely with many agents on a consultation basis for the agent's clients.
A 1983 graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Jim is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, the premier association of financial professionals. Jim holds his life insurance license in Georgia as well as several other Southeastern States. In addition, he holds FINRA licenses 6,7, 22, 24, 63, 65 and 66. Originally from Southern Maryland, Jim now lives in Marietta with Donna, his wife of 20 years and their two sons, Zack and Luke. He and his wife are very involved in their children’s school, Mt. Paran Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia. Jim spends a great deal of his free time with his family enjoying a leisurely game of golf at their vacation home in Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee.
